This world-wide patented product is produced to industrial standards. Its potential is unparalleled for the opportunities that it offers for the creative development of your project. Much like porcelain paper clay, Keraflex® tape is porcelain bonded with an organic matrix. However, Keraflex ® is flexible when wet and easily manipulated into complex forms prior to firing. After high firing the organic compounds burn out, leaving a strong and translucent porcelain. It is available in A4 and A3 sheets, and custom sizes are also available up to an A2 sheet. There are two thicknesses, 1.0mm and 0.5mm. There are a myriad of ways to apply imagery onto the surface, either by glazing, screen printing, drawing with oxides prior or post firing.
